Grandpa and Me
Grandma and Grandpa and I went on a hike and saw the Tongue River. We climbed to the top of a cliff.
We saw a dog who lived in a junk yard and saw lots of horses and cows.
We found a shot gun case and bullets.
We sat and laid down on the grass and looked at the sky and the animals.
We also found a grave. The cross was made out of sticks and feathers.
We do lots of things together. Grandpa and I made bunk beds last week.
Grandpa taught me how to measure and cut wood. I helped assemble it and I had to remember and study what he taught me on the first day. It would just be a glob of mess if we didn't do it right.
It can't get much more perfect than how it turned out. I screwed in all the nails. Grandpa wasn't sure if I was strong enough, but I was.
It was a lot of hard work, but now I sleep on it every single night. It's the third day. It's pretty nice. Grandma usually sleeps on the bottom and I sleep on the top.
Grandpa made a railing because I kick and roll and punch things when I sleep.
Grandpa and I did a great job on the bunk bed because it does not wiggle and I love to climb up the ladder and down. It's so much fun and I love it. I can't wait until our next project.
